In Truckers Chapel, from her ongoing Passing Through series of poems and paintings, Hanamori sits a man and his dog at a neon-lit stop on the Mother Road and asks what trust is left after betrayal—whether faith in God can still hold when the world has gone raw. It is her continuing search through pain toward forgiveness and grace: what does it take to keep believing while you are only passing through?
