We are saddended to share that Mary Ann Weems passed away on July 21st. Mary Ann founded Weems Gallery in 1981 and was a formidable force for art in Albuquerque. Mary Ann sold the gallery in 2019 but we cherished her as a gallery artist and a supportive cheerleader.

Mary Ann's memorial service will be Friday, August 7th at 10am, at the Railyards near downtown Albuquerque, in the Event Venue Building.

    What was started as place for artists to connect, has become a leading gallery in Albuquerque for four+ decades. This show will celebrate the many artists through the years that have kept Weems art on walls all over town.

    In celebration, awe, and fascination with our hometown highway, we’re exhibiting artwork that explores the grit and glory of auto culture, small town life, and unknown places.



  • Horizons in the Heights: Popup Artisan Market

    Saturday October 3, 10 - 5pm

    Weems Gallery will host artisan vendors in an outdoor popup market while Albuquerque and Placitas Car Club will show off a dazzling array of collector's cars in the "cruise-in" right outside.
