Life Is A Highway

This is a pastel painting of a back-country highway through a quintessential western landscape. The location is real, made famous from a scene in the movie Forrest Gump. Soft pastel on UART dark paper.

This piece is part of our Tar, Time and Travel exhibit, meditations on the mother road.
