Duet

This painting is based on a photograph I took while touring the VanDusen Botanical Gardens, a 55 acre oasis in the heart of Vancouver City, Canada with over 7500 plant species. This garden, surprisingly, became a muse for my interest in water lilies. The VanDrusen gardens contains several wondering ponds filled with a myriad variety of water flowers. The beauty of which were found hiding near large lily pads. This hidden gem became one of my favorite places to walk and to get lost in my imagination for painting. Acrylic 16x16 Frame: 17.5x17.5
