Contradictions I

Edition 1 of 5. The Garage on Beck was a roadhouse bar in an industrial area in Salt Lake City. It closed in 2025 after the property fell under eminent domain for an oil refinery. For years the Garage was a staple for truckers and travelers making their way down the Wasatch Front and towards the wider Southwest. "Contradictions I" was made on film during the final night that the Garage was open. The classic bulb sign was on for one last night, imploring travelers to engage with the promise of a roadhouse bar just off the open road, one last time.
