Sweet Retreat

Painting in Los Ranchos de Albuquerque, NM. DiCappo says of this piece, "I had the opportunity to paint in one of the courtyards at the Los Poblanos Historic Inn & Farm. It’s such a quaint location and the play of light and shadow at the entrance to this cottage intrigued me. I often include architecture in my paintings to create a dialogue between the human world and the natural world."
