179 Metal Emboss- Desert Regalia

“Desert Regalia” embraces Southwest landscape and foliage.  It was made by embossing copper. The imagery includes a Yucca, Paddle Cactus. and Chamisa.  Engraving was used for some detail, and embossing was used for some detail.  It is the alternating of embossing, engraving that gives the finished piece so much depth and many interesting textures.   Oxidation was used to provide shading.  8” X 10” Metal in 11” X 14” Frame.
