159 Metal Emboss- Octopus Happy Place

“Octopus Happy Place” was made by embossing copper and silver-tone foil. The imagery captures the Octopus at the bottom of the ocean among coral, sea sponge, and sea grass. Engraving was used for some detail, and embossing was used for some detail. It is the alternating of embossing, engraving that gives the finished piece so much depth and interesting textures. Oxidation was used to provide shading. 11” X 14” Frame.
