Carol Johnson started Sweet Cheeks Crafts as a means of “legitimizing” her hobbies and making her products available to others.

Her handmade soaps are made in small batches -- only 8 to 12 bars per batch -- and contain vegetable oil, olive oil, coconut oil, cocoa butter, natural and essential oils, milk, and oatmeal. The natural and essential oils are mixed in unusual combinations to create unique fragrances. Bars are individually wrapped, first in tissue paper and then fabric.

Her clay ceramics are artfully designed and come in a variety of colors, shapes and sizes. Many are meant to be used as soap dishes or to hold small items like earrings or rings. Some of her decorative ceramics are designed as small wall hangings that can hold dried flowers.

Both her soaps and clay ceramics make perfect gifts. Items shown online are a small sampling of those available in the gallery.
