Resale Show!

Do you have original wall art or pottery that you’d like to sell

because you’re downsizing, settling a family estate or simply redecorating?


Back by popular demand is Weems’ resale art show, a repeat of last year’s event that was so well-received,

we’re making it an annual event! We’re now seeking original wall art and pottery to be

considered for inclusion in the two-week show that runs Aug. 2 to 17.

Submissions are being accepted now through Friday, July 12.


If you’d like to submit pieces for consideration, here are some important details to get started:


Show Dates

The show opens Friday, Aug. 2, with a reception from 5 to 7 p.m. and continues through Saturday, Aug. 17.

Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday. The show is being held concurrently with

The Great Southwestern Antique Show (Aug. 3-4), which brings a large influx of art collectors to Albuquerque.


Steps for Submitting and Reselling Your Artwork

We are looking for original wall art and pottery only, not to include artists who are currently represented

in the gallery. Submissions are being accepted now through Friday, July 12. To submit:

Send photos of your pieces to

Include any information you have, including:

Artist’s name.

Image size (height and width).

Medium (oil, acrylic, pastel, watercolor, bronze, ceramic, etc.).

Historical information if you have it.

Original receipts, appraisals or other information you may have about the value of your piece. (This is helpful but not necessary.)

Your name, address, phone number and email address (or the owner’s information if you’re submitting for someone else).

Weems will vet the pieces, working in conjunction with an appraiser and online art resources to determine pricing and final acceptance into the show. Please note that the pricing we suggest is not official appraisal pricing but what we think we can sell the pieces for.

Weems will then then email you additional information, along with a contract that must be completed and returned via email within one week of your receiving it. Artwork and the original signed contract must be delivered to the gallery no later than the week of July 15-19.

If you need to ship pieces to the gallery, you will need to cover all shipping costs, including return shipping for pieces that don’t sell.

For pieces that sell, Weems will do a 60/40 split, with 60% going to the owner and 40% going to the gallery. Commission checks will be processed in August.
