Along the Arroyo's Edge

My muse or inspiration for this piece was my love of the arroyos that typify the New Mexico landscape. They are either sandy, dry and hot as this day or rushing with the water that carves them. Pinions, juniper, patches of grass and sometimes chamisa complete the view. I love how this place screams New Mexico. oil 16x20 Frame: 20.5x24.5
