I received my BBA from the Anderson School of Management at the University of New Mexico. I began studying art in the early 1970s, learning drawing, charcoal, watercolors, pastels, oils, and acrylics.  \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%;\"\u003eMy move to New Mexico rekindled my desire to pursue art as I discovered the area’s captivating landscapes as well as the state’s diverse cultures. My primary medium is acrylics and my passion for art comes through in the rich vibrancy of color in each of my paintings.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%;\"\u003eIn January of 2020, I was invited to exhibit my work at Weem’s Gallery. In 2021, I was successfully juried to participate in the Ruidoso Arts Festival, where I received a second-place award in the category of oils\/acrylics. In 2022 and 2023 I received second and third place awards at the Fine Arts Exhibit of the NM State Fair.
