Rectangular Black Onyx Ring

This “wrap ring” features a rectangular 10X20 mm Black Onyx cabochon. It is mounted in a brass bezel cup with a rim of Sterling silver. The 4 corners of the bezel are cut low resulting in an interesting framing of the onyx. The shank is made from Sterling silver. It is wider on one side than the other. It has sweeping pieces of copper screen and brass overlay that look like a sunset. The shank is soldered to the bezel mount on one side. The other side of the shank is curved under the mount. The ring is size 10. However, with this method, the resulting ring is adjustable in size a half size either way.
