Janet Haist Works

Janet Haist, an Albuquerque photographer, loves photographing nature as she explores New Mexico and beyond.  She spends much of her time in the Jemez mountains where she enjoys hiking with her husband and their dog, Elsa. With her camera slung over her shoulder, she is always searching for one of those “oh wow” nature moments.  Her photography includes “from small heartbeats to vast landscapes”.  Janet believes that through nature photography she can reflect the love of beauty, care for wildlife, the struggle for life, compassion, and responsibility for the wilderness which surrounds us.  Janet Haist’s photography is exhibited at Weems Gallery.
